Have you met Chef Warren Miller yet?

He’s been working here at Crush for four years, cooking your favorites, but did you know he’s a local guy too? His culinary training started early with classes in high school in Paradise, but he’d already been cooking for years at home and with his grandmother. Working in every kind of kitchen imaginable — from fast food to huge banquets, catering and everything in between, Warren’s real world experience and formal culinary school education brought him to fine dining, back to the North Valley, and Crush.

Now that Warren is the Executive Chef at Crush, he’s already creating new menu items, like his Cedar-Planked Salmon. He’s also excited about Crush’s commitment to buying local ingredients, as well as finding the best ingredients the world has to offer, like Scottish salmon. The best part of his job his getting to work the saute station “because that’s where the art is — where I can be creative.”

If you’re enjoying yourself so much at lunch that you just wish you could stay longer, we’ve got you covered! Get your evening off to a great start with happy hour from 4:30-6:30pm every afternoon!

Crush Chefs Jason, Nate and Warren have formed a “Crush Chefs’ Club” to showcase their culinary expertise. On the third Wednesday of every month, our chefs will prepare a special three course meal, exclusively for our chef’s club members.

To become a member, simply provide your email address or call 342-7000 to leave your contact information. Email notifications will be sent out one week prior to the event to inform our members of the event dates, featured menu items and pricing. These special events do require a reservation, and they will go quickly!

The teen job training and mentoring program started last year by Crush and the Boys and Girls Club was so successful, we’re doing it again this fall!

Young people from the Teen Center participate in this exciting job training opportunity, shadowing Crush employees from all areas of the restaurant throughout the fall. Participating students learn about food, nutrition, service, and skill development in a dynamic, high-end restaurant environment. Past students have built good relationships and fostered great work ethics, and we expect this will only continue this season.

We hope you will support this program by coming to Crush on Tuesdays this fall, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Enjoy a great Crush dining experience while helping young people develop important skills. Feel free to order from our regular dinner menu, but if you select the evening’s $30 special menu, Crush will donate $10 directly to the Boys & Girls Club. The more the community supports us, the more hands-on experience our kids receive, and the greater the donation to the club. Its a win-win.

It’s the perfect gift. Gift cards are available in any denomination you choose. Simply let any employee know the amount you wish to put on the card, and they will add provide you with the card and a gift envelope. It’s that easy!
